A new story in the New York Times “In Transit” section features a cabin in the Grand Canyon built in 1890 as a stagecoach stop.  It has been newly renovated and can been rented for an overnight stay–dream on!  Read the NY Times story here.

These charming photos are from a recent article by SANDRA BALLENTINE  in the New York Times T magazine about a small rustic cabin just outside of Paris.

A rustic cabin in Fontainebleau serves as a retreat for designers Jérôme Dreyfuss and Isabel Marant. Photographs by Adrian Gaut

Ballentine writes “Surrounded by acacia trees on the banks of the Loing River in Fontainebleau, the tiny clapboard cottage is only 35 miles southeast of central Paris, but it feels worlds away, thanks to its untamed, verdant surroundings and lack of mod cons like electricity, heat and plumbing.” Click here to read the rest of the story.

Warm weather brings with it a wanderlust for the open road. I found a fun blog called wandering airstream about a airstream named eddie…thought you might enjoy reading some of the posts.

No better way to travel than with a camper hitched to your car and the beautiful National and State Parks as your destination.  And check out our airstream camping sign and pillow.
